About This Role

Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace (FOSPAH) is seeking an Assistant Law Officer for the Karachi Regional Office. This is a contract position based in Karachi. The successful candidate will provide legal support and advice on matters related to harassment prevention and employee protection, contributing to FOSPAH's mission of protecting women at the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and support on harassment-related matters
  • Assist in handling complaints and legal cases
  • Review legal documents and correspondence
  • Coordinate with complainants and respondents
  • Maintain legal records and case files
  • Prepare legal reports and recommendations
  • Support the Registrar and management in legal matters

Requirements & Qualifications

  • LL.B degree from a recognized university
  • Relevant experience in legal affairs and government procedures
  • Knowledge of harassment laws and women protection regulations
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive cases professionally
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency and typing ability
