About This Role
IRC is urgently hiring a qualified Safety, Security, and Access Officer to ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and operational excellence are maintained. You will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and monitoring protocols that protect and serve our target communities. Your expertise will be vital in navigating complex environments and promoting a culture of care.nnYou will conduct regular audits, provide training to staff, and respond to incidents. Key Responsibilities
- • Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies and procedures.
- • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
- • Provide health and safety training and awareness programs for staff.
- • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports.
- • Collaborate with external agencies and regulatory bodies as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- ✓ Degree in Public Health, Occupational Safety, Medicine, or related discipline.
- ✓ Valid professional certifications and licenses as required by local authorities.
- ✓ Extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
- ✓ Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities.
- ✓ Ability to handle emergencies and high-pressure situations calmly.
