Terms & Conditions (Important Points)

1. Eligibility Framework: Candidate eligibility is strictly determined according to Higher Education Commission (HEC) criteria. Subsequent shortlisting and scrutiny will be conducted in accordance with the AIOU services statutes 1978 (as amended from time to time), the "AIOU Recruitment & Promotion Rules 2022" Policy, and the Internal Assessment Framework approved by the apex body of the University (available on the AIOU website).
2. Age Relaxation: Maximum age limit relaxations will be granted in pursuance of the Relaxation of Upper Age Limit Rules, 1993 (amended from time to time), as provided in the AIOU Services Statutes 1978.
3. Finality of Information: Information claimed in the online application form will be treated as final. Subsequent claims or earlier omissions will be considered an afterthought to gain eligibility and will not be accepted.
4. In-Service Applicants: Candidates operating on a regular, acting charge, officiating, ad-hoc, current charge, or contract basis within Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Bodies (including existing AIOU employees) must apply through the proper channel. They must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and service certificate(s) issued by the respective Controlling Authority by the due date, failing which the application will be rejected.
5. University Rights: AIOU reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts, to leave any post unfilled, or to withhold the appointment process entirely against any post without assigning any reason.
6. Interview Expenses: No TA/DA will be admissible under any circumstances for appearing in tests or interviews.
