This Post Graduate Registrar position offers FCPS-II or M.Sc level training with direct involvement in anaesthetic management for complex cardiac surgical cases. Before applying, confirm that your FCPS Part-I is passed and that your 2 years of General Anaesthesia training are formally documented. Candidates with foreign medical qualifications must obtain an HEC or PMC equivalency certificate and attach it to the application. The hospital will not process applications from foreign-qualified candidates who do not include this certificate. To prepare for the selection interview, review anaesthetic principles relevant to cardiac surgery including induction techniques for cardiac patients, cardiopulmonary bypass management from the anaesthesiology perspective, haemodynamic monitoring, transesophageal echocardiography basics, and post-operative cardiac ICU anaesthetic considerations. Familiarity with the FCPS-II Cardiac Anaesthesia training curriculum of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan will help demonstrate your clinical and academic readiness to the selection committee.
