Certified Prosthetist & Orthotist

Muzaffarabad Physical Rehabilitation Centre, under the Department of Health AJ&K, is seeking qualified Certified Prosthetists & Orthotists to join our clinical team. This is a regular open-ended contract position for healthcare professionals dedicated to providing prosthetic and orthotic services to patients with limb loss and mobility challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• • Design, fabricate, and fit custom prosthetic and orthotic devices for patients
• • Conduct patient assessments and functional evaluations
• • Provide training and follow-up care for prosthetic and orthotic users
• • Collaborate with physiotherapists and physicians in patient rehabilitation
• • Maintain detailed patient records and documentation
• • Stay updated with latest prosthetic and orthotic technologies and techniques
• • Ensure quality standards in device fabrication and fitting

Requirements

• ✓ Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics from an HEC-recognized institution
• ✓ Minimum 2 years of practical experience in prosthetics and orthotics field
• ✓ Professional certification in prosthetics and orthotics
• ✓ Strong knowledge of human anatomy and biomechanics
• ✓ Excellent patient care and communication skills
• ✓ Age limit: 25-40 years
• ✓ Merit: Open Merit
