About This Role
PESCO is a Public Limited Power Distribution Company seeking a Database Administration Consultant for IT/ERP operations and Data Center management. This is a contractual position for 1 year (extendable based on performance and mutual consent). The consultant will handle enterprise-level database administration, Oracle EBS Apps management, and data center operations including hardware and software management. Salary will be offered according to qualification and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- • Administer Oracle EBS Applications in enterprise environment
- • Perform application cloning and patching activities
- • Manage data center hardware and software infrastructure
- • Handle IT/ERP related operations and maintenance
- • Ensure database performance, availability, and security
- • Develop and implement database management strategies
- • Monitor and troubleshoot database issues
- • Maintain documentation and process management
Requirements & Qualifications
- ✓ Master's degree or BSc/BS in Computer Sciences/Engineering or equivalent
- ✓ Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience at enterprise level
- ✓ Oracle EBS Apps administration experience mandatory
- ✓ Experience with App Cloning & patching
- ✓ Oracle Certifications required
- ✓ Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- ✓ Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- ✓ Process/project management skills (preferred)
