Database Administration Consultant

PESCO is a Public Limited Power Distribution Company seeking a Database Administration Consultant for IT/ERP operations and Data Center management. This is a contractual position for 1 year (extendable based on performance and mutual consent). The consultant will handle enterprise-level database administration, Oracle EBS Apps management, and data center operations including hardware and software management. Salary will be offered according to qualification and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• • Administer Oracle EBS Applications in enterprise environment
• • Perform application cloning and patching activities
• • Manage data center hardware and software infrastructure
• • Handle IT/ERP related operations and maintenance
• • Ensure database performance, availability, and security
• • Develop and implement database management strategies
• • Monitor and troubleshoot database issues
• • Maintain documentation and process management

Requirements

• ✓ Master's degree or BSc/BS in Computer Sciences/Engineering or equivalent
• ✓ Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience at enterprise level
• ✓ Oracle EBS Apps administration experience mandatory
• ✓ Experience with App Cloning & patching
• ✓ Oracle Certifications required
• ✓ Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• ✓ Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• ✓ Process/project management skills (preferred)
