Deputy Director (Database and Analytics)

The Government of Sindh - Planning and Development Department invites applications for Deputy Director (Database and Analytics). This position focuses on managing database systems, data analytics, and business intelligence for the department. The role involves designing and implementing database solutions, managing data analytics platforms, and creating data visualization dashboards for strategic decision-making. This is a contract position for one year, extendable based on performance. Applicants must be domicile/PRC holders of Sindh with a maximum age limit of 40 years.

Key Responsibilities

• • Manage Database Administration and Information Systems
• • Oversee Data Analytics and Business Intelligence operations
• • Design and implement SQL and NoSQL database solutions
• • Develop data visualization dashboards and reports
• • Manage Big Data tools and frameworks
• • Ensure Database Security and Encryption protocols
• • Implement Data Governance and Compliance standards
• • Support cloud-based database platforms
• • Conduct Statistical Modeling and Data Mining analysis

Requirements

• ✓ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Software Engineering / Data Science / Information Systems or equivalent (at least 16 years of education)
• ✓ Minimum 2.5 CGPA or Second Division from HEC recognized university
• ✓ Minimum 3 years of experience in Database Administration, Information Systems, or Data Analytics
• ✓ Preference given to candidates with government or public sector project experience
• ✓ Must be domicile/PRC holder of Sindh
• ✓ Maximum age limit: 40 years (as of closing date)
