Applications are invited from eligible candidates having domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for appointment against the post of Director Academics at Pakistan Institute of Prosthetic and Orthotic Sciences (PIPOS), Peshawar.

INF (P) 2077/26 and INF (P) 2039/26 dated 06 May 2026 for the posts of Managing Director, Director PRSP (Patient Care), and Director Academics are hereby declared null and void and superseded by this advertisement. Job Details

Qualification

• MS/MPhil in Prosthetics and Orthotics or allied rehabilitation fields, having 10 years of experience in limb rehabilitation including at least 5 years teaching experiences in the Prosthetics and Orthotics or allied limb rehabilitation fields.
• OR BS in Prosthetics Orthotics or allied limb rehabilitation fields having 10 years of experience in limb rehabilitation including at least 5 years teaching experiences in the relevant fields.
• The candidates having advanced Qualifications in management related fields, such as Organizational Management, Hospital / Health Care Management, Public Health or other relevant disciplines, will be highly considered.

Applications accompanied with complete bio-data and academic / experience / domicile certificates along with 02 recent photographs and CNIC photocopy duly attested must reach through only registered courier's services / Post office to the office of the Managing Director PIPOS within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement on a prescribed form. By hand submission of the application form will not be entertained by the department.
2. Application Form along-with Bank Draft in favor of Managing Director-PIPOS or through direct deposit in Bank National Bank of Pakistan, Branch Code 1759, A/C Number# 3011734865 with account title PIPOS Training & Education as per the payment details given above must reach through only registered couriers services / Post office to the office of Administrative Officer.

3. In case the documents reach after due date by the courier even if the Bank draft/ payment is done within due date will not be entertained.
4. Appointment shall be for a period of three years, extendible once for another term on satisfactory performance subject to the approval of the board with a Probation period of three months.
5. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
6. If the closing date fixed for the receipt of application form falls on an official holiday, the next working day shall be considered as the closing date.
7. An application after the closing time and date shall stand rejected.
8. The Scrutiny Committee shall be competent to reject applications which are incomplete. However, the aggrieved candidates can appeal to the competent forum, i.e. PIPOS Board. The decision of the competent forum shall be final.
9. Any candidate may be disqualified or excluded from interview if he/ she were
   (a) Convicted by the court of law.
   (b) Dismissed/Terminated from Public service.
   (c) Furnishes any false information, submits forged or Tempered certificate or any other document.
   (d) Attempts to obtain support for his/her (candidature by improper means).
   (e) Misbehaves in the interview.
10. Original documents should be produced at the time of interview.
11. The competent authority has the power to increase or decrease or even cancel the post as per requirement of PIPOS.
12. Government servants/Autonomous Bodies are required to apply through proper channel and must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their competent authority while applying for the position in PIPOS.
13. No TA/DA is allowed for Interview.

15. The service will be governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa PIPOS Act, 1999.
16. Has been disqualified convicted by any court of law or disqualified from holding public office on any ground.
17. Has a conflict of interest that is likely to affect the due performance of his/her duties.
18. The candidate shall furnish a certificate from the immediate previous employer certifying that no case of fraud, corruption, misconduct, or disciplinary proceedings is pending against the candidate.
