Qualifications
- Minimum 16 years of education in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university
- PEC Registration required
Experience
- Minimum 02 years of post-qualification experience in planning and coordination and/or construction supervision of infrastructure projects or in a similar role

How to Prepare for This Role
A Junior Engineer / Site Engineer interview at ECSP evaluates your fundamental civil engineering knowledge, your 2 years of site experience, and your readiness to contribute to infrastructure project supervision. The panel looks for technical grounding, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a consultancy environment.
Bring your updated CV, attested copies of your Civil Engineering degree, PEC registration certificate, CNIC, and experience certificates covering at least 2 years of post-qualification work in construction supervision or planning and coordination on infrastructure projects.
PEC registration is mandatory. Confirm your registration is active and bring both the original certificate and an attested copy. Expired or inactive registration will disqualify you at the documentation check.
Review civil engineering basics: concrete work, earthworks, road construction, drainage systems, and site layout. Study construction supervision checklists, daily site reporting, quality control at the site level, and basic project scheduling tools such as bar charts and S-curves. Know your role in supporting a Resident Engineer on-site.
Be ready to explain what you did daily on your most recent project: what you supervised, what reports you prepared, and how you coordinated with contractors or senior engineers. Concrete daily activities are more convincing than general descriptions.
Expect questions on your civil engineering education, site supervision experience, how you handled a technical problem on-site, and your familiarity with quality control and progress reporting. Be ready to discuss a real site situation and your specific contribution to resolving it.
Prepare a brief 2-minute introduction covering your engineering background and the most relevant infrastructure project you worked on. Mention your specific role and what you learned from the experience.
Arrive with originals and attested copies of all required documents. Dress formally. Be honest about your experience level and show genuine enthusiasm for infrastructure work and professional growth at ECSP.
