The panel will assess your knowledge of electrical systems relevant to a large commercial facility. Be ready to discuss: low and high voltage distribution systems, lighting systems, power distribution panels, UPS systems, generators, and energy monitoring. Prepare examples of electrical systems you have managed and maintained in previous roles, including the scale of the facility and the complexity of the electrical infrastructure.
Retail stores and supermarkets have specific electrical requirements including refrigeration systems, lighting, CCTV and security systems, POS infrastructure, and backup power. If you have experience in retail or commercial electrical maintenance, highlight this as it directly aligns with Imtiaz Group's requirements.
Be ready to explain your approach to preventive maintenance: how you schedule and execute PM tasks for electrical equipment, how you document maintenance records, and how you ensure minimal downtime. Also prepare specific examples of complex electrical faults you have diagnosed and resolved, including the troubleshooting process you followed and the outcome.
The ability to troubleshoot independently and resolve electrical issues without escalation is a key expectation for a supervisor-level role. Prepare two to three examples of critical electrical problems you diagnosed and resolved under time pressure to demonstrate this capability.
As a supervisor, you will be expected to manage and direct electrical technicians and support staff. Be ready to discuss how you have supervised an electrical team, assigned work orders, ensured safety compliance, and maintained quality standards. Describe how you have handled situations where team members needed guidance or retraining.
Bring your diploma or degree certificate in Electrical Engineering to the interview. Your educational qualification is explicitly required. Also bring experience letters confirming your minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
