About the Job
The Finance Division, Government of Pakistan, is seeking highly qualified and motivated individuals for the position of Analyst-International Taxation in the Tax Policy Office, Islamabad. This role is essential for analyzing global tax trends, managing cross-border taxation issues, and ensuring Pakistan's tax policy aligns with international standards and treaties.
Key Responsibilities
- Treaty Analysis: Review and analyze Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAAs) and other international tax treaties.
- Transfer Pricing: Monitor and evaluate transfer pricing practices and their impact on national revenue.
- BEPS Implementation: Assist in the implementation of Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) action plans and other OECD/G20 standards.
- Cross-Border Advisory: Provide technical analysis on the taxation of digital economies and multi-national enterprises (MNEs).
- Global Benchmarking: Research and compare international tax regimes to provide evidence-based recommendations for domestic policy reforms.
