It is seeking a visionary and highly skilled Manager (MIS) to oversee its technological landscape, drive digital transformation, and lead robust IT initiatives. The Manager (MIS) will play a pivotal role in aligning technology initiatives with core corporate strategies. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage enterprise infrastructure, and spearhead critical system deployments, including ERP implementation.

Key Responsibilities

The selected Manager (MIS) at Jamshoro Power Company Limited will be responsible for strategic IT leadership, governance, and system optimization across the following areas:

  • Strategic Planning: Formulate and implement comprehensive IT strategies aligned with organizational objectives and future growth.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and manage IT teams, overseeing recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Systems Development & Integration: Oversee the end-to-end design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise information systems.
  • ERP Implementation: Successfully establish, implement, and optimize the company's ERP system.
  • Infrastructure Management: Ensure the IT infrastructure is secure, reliable, efficient, and scalable to meet organizational needs.
  • Project & Program Management: Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects to ensure timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, and budget compliance.
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance: Safeguard corporate data and digital assets by enforcing strict cybersecurity protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting & Resource Optimization: Prepare and manage IT budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and optimal resource utilization.
  • Policy & Governance Framework: Develop and enforce robust policies related to MIS, digital systems, and overall IT governance.

Required Professional Qualifications & Experience

Candidates applying for this position must meet one of the following educational and post-qualification experience brackets:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • M.Phil / MS / Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.

Additional Criteria:

  • Preferred Skills: Up-to-date knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies will be given preference.
