Core Responsibilities & Scope of Work

The Group Product Manager will execute a dual-responsibility mandate divided between macro-level organizational leadership and micro-level product ownership:

1. Leadership & Product Operating Model Excellence

  • Mentorship & Coaching: Serve as a direct player-coach to other Product Managers across MonetizeMore, systematically elevating their execution, strategic thinking, and product craft.
  • Outcome over Output Transition: Evangelize a cultural shift away from "feature-factory" mindsets. Train the product team to prioritize tangible business results and publisher impact over standard sprint velocity and story points.
  • Framework Standardization: Introduce and implement modern product operating model principles, including product trios, data-informed decision-making, rapid prototyping, and de-risking assumptions.
  • Evangelize Kaizen: Establish continuous feedback loops and structured retrospective frameworks to mature the global product organization.

2. Interim Product Ownership: Advanced Ads Platform

  • Strategy & Vision: Own and define the long-term product vision for Advanced Ads—the company's leading ad-management platform powering over 150,000 websites globally. Integrate its targeting, flexible ad injection, and Google Ad Manager capabilities deeper into the MonetizeMore ecosystem.
  • Continuous Discovery: Lead ongoing product discovery cycles to identify publisher pain points, validating structural ideas for viability, feasibility, usability, and value prior to code development.
  • Revenue & Growth: Drive end-to-end monetization strategy and Go-To-Market (GTM) execution. Prioritize the platform roadmap based on clear ROI, maintaining a strict focus on Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV).
  • Cross-Functional Alignment & Planning: Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Growth teams to ensure successful feature commercialization and adoption. Analyze long-term line requirements, determine investment and resource allocation, and propose optimal organizational designs.

Eligibility Criteria & Candidate Requirements

MonetizeMore seeks an experienced, data-driven leader who fulfills the following professional parameters:

  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 8+ years of total Product Management experience, which must include at least 3+ years directly leading or mentoring other Product Managers.
  • Industry Domain Assets: Direct experience within Ad Tech, Software as a Service (SaaS), or the WordPress ecosystem is considered a massive plus.
  • Operating Model Expertise: Practical, hands-on experience working within a modern, empowerment-based Product Operating Model (such as frameworks inspired by Marty Cagan's Silicon Valley Product Group).
  • Data Mastery & Communication: Proven history of religiously monitoring product health metrics, possessing the professional courage to pivot or terminate underperforming features. Ability to translate complex technical logic into clear value propositions for stakeholders, developers, and internal teams.
