About the Job

The National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA), operating under the Ministry of Interior & Narcotics Control, Government of Pakistan, has announced a career opportunity for a seasoned network engineer at its Headquarters in G-5/2, Islamabad. Under the provisions of Regulation 9, 10 and 11 of the NADRA Employees (Service) Regulations, 2002, NADRA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional for the position of Assistant Director (Network Engineer – Routing & Switching).

This is a critical infrastructure role within NADRA's core network operations team. The selected individual will be responsible for operating, securing, and maintaining the organization's switching and routing environment — including Next Generation Firewalls, IPSec VPNs, and multi-vendor network devices from Juniper, Cisco, H3C, and Fortigate. The role demands a strong command of network security policies, Layer-2/Layer-3 architecture, and advanced filtering technologies.

NADRA is one of Pakistan's most technologically advanced government institutions, managing the national identity and registration infrastructure for over 220 million citizens. Joining NADRA's network team means working on mission-critical systems that directly support national security and public services.

1. Selected candidate will be hired on contract basis with a 6-month probation period (extendable if required).
