National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC) is responsible for the efficient transmission of electricity from generation sources to distribution companies across the nation. NGC is intending to hire top-class mid to senior level audit professionals through Executives Network International (ENI), a premier executive search consultancy.

NGC is seeking a Manager Audit (Capacity Building, Admin and Payment) to report to the Deputy Chief Internal Auditor (Quality Review, Reporting & Follow-Up, IA Policies & Procedures and Special Assignments). The incumbent will be responsible for developing audit team competencies, maintaining training records, implementing QAIP, and managing administrative and payment matters of the audit department.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assess training and competency needs of Internal Audit staff on a periodic basis
  • Develop and implement annual capacity building and training plans for audit staff
  • Coordinate internal and external trainings, workshops, seminars, and certifications (e.g., CIA, CISA, CFE, ISO certifications related to ERM and GRC)
  • Develop audit manuals, SOPs, toolkits, and guidance notes to enhance audit quality
  • Promote adoption of IIA auditing standards, best practices, and emerging audit techniques
  • Maintain training records, skill matrices, and learning progress of audit staff
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions, lessons learned, and post-audit reviews
  • Assist Deputy CIA in performance evaluation frameworks linked with competency development
  • Liaise with HR, training institutions, and professional bodies for audit-related capacity building
  • Support implementation of Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP)
  • Oversee administration, HR-related issues, promotion, and upgradation of staff
  • Serve as Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO) for payments related to administrative matters of the audit department
