The Punjab Forensic Science Authority (PFSA) is seeking highly qualified and dedicated individuals to join its team as Junior Forensic Scientists specializing in Crime Scene Investigation. This is a prestigious opportunity for professionals with a background in science or engineering to contribute to the justice system by working at the front lines of forensic evidence collection and analysis.

The selected candidates will be stationed at various Crime Scene Units and Satellite Stations established at the Divisional Headquarters and District levels across Punjab. This role is pivotal in ensuring that forensic evidence is handled with the highest level of precision and integrity from the moment it is identified at a scene.

Vacancies

• Post: Junior Forensic Scientist (Crime Scene Investigation) (Special Pay Package)
• Total Posts: 30 (Available on Open Merit, restricted to male candidates)
• Minimum Qualification & Experience: * Candidates must hold an M.Sc., BS, or B.Sc. (Hons.) (second division) in one of the following fields: Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Forensic Science, Pharmacy, Micro Biology, Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Agronomy, Horticulture, Entomology, Soil Chemistry, Plant Breeding & Genetics, Food Technology, Food Nutrition, or Economics from an HEC-recognized university.
• Alternatively, candidates may hold a B.Sc. (second division) in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
• Age Limit: Applicants must be between 23 and 35 years of age.
• Salary: A competitive monthly salary of Rs. 200,000/- is offered, featuring a 10% annual increase. Please note that during the initial training period, half salary will be paid.

• These positions are offered on a three-year contract basis, which is renewable under the Government of the Punjab's Contract Appointment Policy 2004.
