micro1 is engaging Robot Teleoperators to contribute expertise to a dynamic customer project focused on advanced robotics and teleoperation for AI training. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required; your domain knowledge is what matters.

Job Details

Scope of Work

• Operate robotic arms and telemanipulators using leader movements, VR headsets, and haptic controllers.
• Monitor and debug autonomous robot commands and execute tasks according to project specifications.
• Follow strict protocols with precision and consistency throughout all operations.
• Provide clear written and verbal feedback about anomalies, errors, and technical issues encountered.
• Assist with workstation setup, camera positioning, and lab organization as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with VR systems such as Meta Quest, Vision Pro, DeepVR, or similar motion-control technologies.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for precise robotic manipulation.
• Familiarity with robotics, programming, and/or engineering principles.
• Comfort with learning new hardware and control interfaces quickly and effectively.
• Ability to troubleshoot systems and communicate technical issues clearly to team members.
• Critical eye for detail, problem-solving abilities, and drive to meet established success metrics.
• 2+ years of experience with robotics, automation, or teleoperation systems preferred.
