About the Job

Power Planning & Monitoring Company (PPMC) is mandated to provide policy and technical support to Ministry of Energy (Power Division), integrated planning of the Power Sector of Pakistan, development and implementation of strategic plans for power sector, and to administer, monitor and evaluate performance of Power Sector Entities under the approved policies/plans.

The Company is seeking applications for the position of Team Lead (Planning) from eligible people, who can perform the tasks assigned to the Company. The first 03 months shall be on probation and thereafter shall be continued as per company policy.

Job Details

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA)

• Bachelors / Masters Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Power / Mechatronics / Electronics / Energy Engineering / Engineering Sciences from well reputed and HEC recognized / affiliated institute / university.
• The candidate must have 07 years of experience in a reputable national / multinational organizations.
• Certification(s) in the relevant field will be preferred.
• Master's degree in relevant field will be preferred.
• Candidate having experience working on relevant simulation tools will be preferred.
• The candidate should also possess experience related to:
  • Sensitivity analyses, scenario developments and decision support for the policymakers
  • Tariff design & modeling
  • Design of Incentive Schemes
  • Generation planning and financial forecast
  • Cross-sectoral & global dialogue and consultations on strategic contours related to power sector.
  • Assistance in development of strategic plans

Remuneration & Age

• The selected candidate will be offered a market-based, competitive remuneration package, commensurate with their skills and experience as per company policy.
• The maximum age limit is 45 years as of the closing date of the advertisement. No age relaxation will be permitted.
