How to Apply

To submit an application, candidates must visit the secure WFP Workday Portal. Applicants must ensure their internal profile details are entirely accurate, complete, and updated with detailed employment history, academic qualifications, language proficiencies, and UN grade levels (if applicable). At the initial stage, only a current CV and Cover Letter are required to process the submission.

Expert Advice

1. Highlight Experience with Corporate Platforms (SCOPE/Sugar CRM)

WFP explicitly highlights corporate platforms like SCOPE and Sugar CRM in its core workflow requirements. Candidates who possess direct experience with these systems or equivalent large-scale enterprise CRM and identity management systems should position this experience prominently at the top of their CV to clear early screening filters.

2. Emphasize Business Analysis and Modeling Artifacts

This role demands a strong capability to translate non-technical humanitarian needs into technical frameworks. Candidates should ensure their application references specific artifacts they have created in past roles, such as user experience designs, data models, UML diagrams, flowcharts, or structured storyboards.

3. Align with the UN Competency and Leadership Framework

Selection within the UN system relies heavily on competency-based screening. Applicants must review the WFP Leadership Framework and ensure their cover letter and resume reflect core values such as collaboration, integrity, and inclusion. Preparing clear examples using the STAR methodology (Situation, Task, Action, Result) regarding emergency preparedness or cross-functional team supervision will significantly improve interview performance.

4. Note on Roster Selection

Because this vacancy serves to build an institutional roster, candidates who pass the rigorous assessment phases but are not selected for immediate openings will be placed in a prequalified pool. This placement frequently fast-tracks candidates for subsequent regional vacancies in locations like Peshawar or Quetta without undergoing the entire initial testing cycle again.
