Key Responsibilities
- Design & Technical Deliverables: Assist in preparing and developing crucial electrical engineering deliverables, including load lists, detailed specifications, single-line diagrams (SLDs), equipment sizing, grounding setups, and cable routing layouts.
- Review & Coordination: Review electrical deliverables and technical vendor submissions to ensure that procured equipment aligns with project quality standards, safety requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Coordinate seamlessly across engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors to ensure well-integrated project delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Adopt company best practices, support digitization and standardization efforts, and apply lessons learned to enhance engineering quality and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: A recognized Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent relevant engineering discipline.
- Total Experience: 4+ years of comprehensive experience in electrical engineering design support.
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 2 years of active experience specifically within the Oil and Gas or petrochemical industry.
- Software Competency: Competent in using specialized electrical engineering design software (knowledge of ETAP or SPEL is highly advantageous) along with MS Office Suite.
- Technical Skills: Sound practical engineering skills with a fundamental understanding of local and international electrical engineering standards, regulatory specifications, and safety codes.
