Potential Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of dies, moulds, jigs, and fixtures for industrial manufacturing applications
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control activities across production and tooling processes
• Use reverse engineering software to analyze and recreate component designs from physical parts
• Handle and process point cloud data from 3D scanning devices for component measurement and validation
• Operate scanning devices and cameras for precision metrology and dimensional capture
• Design plastic moulds and high pressure die casting (HPDC) tooling to functional and dimensional specification
• Prepare and review design documentation, 2D/3D drawings, inspection reports, and QA records
• Collaborate with production and machining teams to resolve design and quality issues
• Ensure all tooling and component designs meet dimensional and functional specifications
• Develop and maintain quality management systems and inspection protocols for tooling and components

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Manufacturing or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in dies, moulds, jigs, and fixtures design and quality assurance
• Preference for candidates with experience in:
• Reverse engineering software (GeoMagic, PolyWorks, Artec Studio, or equivalent)
• Handling of point cloud data from 3D scanners
• Scanning devices including structured light scanners and coordinate measuring cameras
• Design of plastic moulds and high pressure die casting tooling
