The Finance Division, Government of Pakistan, is seeking a highly organized and professional Executive Secretary to join the Tax Policy Office in Islamabad. This role is fundamental to the modernization of Pakistan's fiscal management, serving as the primary administrative link for senior leadership within the division. You will be responsible for managing high-level schedules, coordinating critical communications, and ensuring that the office of the senior executives operates with the highest degree of efficiency and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities


  • Executive Support: Provide high-level administrative assistance to senior officials, managing complex calendars and prioritizing sensitive requests.
  • Communication Management: Handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely responses and professional representation of the Tax Policy Office.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize executive meetings, prepare detailed agendas, and record official minutes to ensure follow-up on critical action items.

Job Details


This position is designated as Executive Secretary, operating under the MP-III (Management Position) Scale. This scale is designed to attract top-tier administrative professionals by offering a competitive remuneration package consistent with high-level executive support standards in the public sector.

The role is based at the Tax Policy Office within the Finance Division located in Islamabad. There is currently 01 (one) post available for this track. As a core member of the executive office, the successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the leadership responsible for Pakistan's evidence-based fiscal reforms.
