Qualification & Experiences

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental, or Aquaculture Engineering)
• At least 5 years of post-qualification experience is preferred but relevant experience is the key criterion

Professional Experience:

• Experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration
• Knowledge of aquaculture equipment, laboratory instruments, and specialized machinery
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment maintenance and management
• Understanding of equipment safety and standard operating procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain aquaculture equipment and laboratory instruments
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of specialized equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and arrange repairs
• Maintain equipment records and maintenance logs
• Conduct equipment training for staff members
• Ensure compliance with equipment safety standards
• Assist in equipment procurement and procurement decisions
• Support research and operational activities requiring specialized equipment
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers and service providers
• Prepare technical documentation and operation manuals
