The project "Settlement of Land Records in Districts Dir Lower, Dir Upper, and Tehsil Kalam-Swat" invites online applications from suitable candidates having Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Domicile for the following project-based posts purely on fixed pay and a contractual basis. These are project posts and will stand abolished automatically on completion of the project. Terms and Conditions

1. Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test; however, detailed scrutiny will be carried out by the appointing authority, and if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect at any stage of the recruitment process, he/she will be disqualified by the Appointing Authority.
2. All the candidates will be required to create a profile on ETEA's website. After creating the profile and before applying/depositing the fee for the post, such candidates will have to print the E-Sahulat token from ETEA's website and get their CNIC No. verified from any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (Kiosk). Without such verification, they will not be able to apply for the post. In case the last date of the receipt of the application falls on a public holiday, the last date will stand extended to the next working day.
3. Candidates qualifying the ETEA test shall subsequently be screened for relevance in terms of the eligibility criteria (Minimum 40% Marks).
4. The positions are purely on a contract basis up to June 2027, with an annual contract extendable upon satisfactory performance.
5. The posts are project posts and will stand abolished automatically on completion of the project.
6. Interview Call letters will be issued to shortlisted candidates only.
7. Candidates should be eligible in all respects by the last date of receipt of the application.
8. Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
9. The candidates working in the government/semi-government bodies should apply through the proper channel. Candidates intending to apply for more than one post shall apply separately for each post, with a separate fee for each.
10. Relaxation in the upper age limit is not applicable.
11. Original documents, along with one set of attested copies of all the relevant documents, shall be produced at the time of the interview.
12. In case of foreign degrees, an equivalent certificate from HEC must be provided.
13. Competent Authority reserves the right to increase/decrease or cancel all or any of the posts.
14. Preferences will be given to the applicant having a domicile belonging to the project area.
15. All recruitment processes will be conducted strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Project Implementation Policy (PIP)-2022.
16. NO TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.

How to Apply

1. Interested candidates may first visit www.etea.edu.pk and apply for the posts online.
2. After successful submission of online application, a prescribed online deposit slip (having token number, Project code and candidates' personal information) will be generated.
3. Take a printout of the generated deposit slip and deposit the prescribed test fee (non-refundable) through Easypaisa app or Agent or at any branch of UBL Bank.
4. After successful fee submission, please keep the original deposit slip (candidate copy) having bank desired stamp with yourself and do not share it with anyone else.
5. After online apply, don't send documents/testimonials to ETEA office; copies of testimonials/documents will however, be provided by the candidates who qualify the screening test, as and when required by the Appointing Authority for scrutiny purposes.
6. Availability of online Application Form on www.etea.edu.pk on 15th June, 2026.
7. Last date for submission of online Application is 30th June, 2026.
8. Candidates will be informed through SMS by ETEA to download and Print their Roll No Slips from www.etea.edu.pk. Candidates are directed to not give ported/converted mobile number.
9. Test Date, Time and Venue will be mentioned on Roll No. Slip.
10. No separate Call Letter will be issued to candidates for screening test through postal/courier means.

How to Prepare for This Role

1. The ETEA screening test is the first stage of this recruitment and all three posts require a minimum of 40% marks to qualify. For the Tehsildar and Girdawar posts, the test will assess your knowledge of land revenue administration, the settlement process, record-of-rights, and relevant KPK revenue laws. For the Accountant post, the test will cover accounting principles, financial management, accounts payable and receivable, and relevant HEC-level finance and business administration concepts. 2. For Tehsildar and Girdawar applicants, the interview panel will focus on your direct experience in land settlement operations. Be prepared to explain what the land settlement process involves from demarcation through preparation of the record-of-rights, how revenue estates are identified and mapped, what the role of a Girdawar is in field verification, and how a Tehsildar oversees the overall revenue circle. If you have served in Dir Lower, Dir Upper, or Swat during your government service, be ready to describe the specific challenges of land settlement in hilly and forested terrain.
3. Since both the Tehsildar and Girdawar posts specify retired government revenue officials as the preferred candidate, the panel will expect you to demonstrate how your service experience translates directly to the project's mandate. Prepare a clear account of the most complex land settlement or revenue dispute you resolved during your career, what the legal framework you applied was, and what the outcome was. Reference specific provisions of KPK land revenue law and settlement manuals where relevant, as this will signal subject-matter depth that distinguishes experienced candidates from generalists.
4. For the Accountant post, the panel will probe your practical experience in accounts management since three years in this area is a stated requirement. Be ready to discuss how you have managed project accounts, prepared financial statements, handled reconciliation, and ensured compliance with applicable financial rules. If you have experience in government or development project accounting specifically, describe that context because this is a public sector project financed under KPK's Project Implementation Policy and its financial management requirements will align with government accounting standards rather than corporate accounting.
5. All three posts are located in the project area covering Dir Lower, Dir Upper, and Tehsil Kalam-Swat, and preference will be given to candidates having domicile from the project area. If your domicile matches the project districts, be prepared to mention this clearly and demonstrate familiarity with the geography, local administrative structure, and land tenure patterns of the area. For candidates from outside the project area, be prepared to explain your willingness and capacity to work in a remote field setting for the full duration of the contract through June 2027.
6. The contract nature of these posts and their automatic abolition on project completion will likely be raised during the interview. Be prepared to explain why you are interested in a project-based position, how you would manage a field assignment in a hilly terrain district, and what your approach would be toward completing settlement work within project timelines.
