About the Job

University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Taxila invites applications from dynamic, dedicated, and competent professionals (male/female) who are Nationals of Pakistan domiciled in the Province of Punjab, for appointment against the following faculty positions on Regular/Visiting basis. Visiting positions are open to all Pakistani Nationals as per HEC rules/guidelines. Appointments will be made in the University on prescribed proforma as per the University Official Website.

Category I: Faculty Positions on Regular Basis

Category II: Faculty Positions on Visiting Basis

General Instructions

1. Applications duly completed in all respect, along with applicable fee (non-refundable) comprise Bank Draft/Postal Order/Bank Challan Rs. 4,000/- only for the post of Lecturer (BPS-18, Category-I) in the favor of the Treasurer, UET, Taxila must be submitted in the R&I Cell of UET Taxila by post or before July 16, 2026 (Thursday), 03:30 PM.
2. Eligible candidates should submit their applications (in hard form) on prescribed form available at university website on URL: https://web.uettaxila.edu.pk/OR/downloadFiles/Job_App_17_above-24-06-2026.doc along with attested copies of educational testimonials (i.e Degrees/Certificates, Transcript/DMC) & experience certificates (from Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies), copy of CNIC, one recent photograph, valid registration card of PEC (only applicable for degrees in engineering discipline) and original fee deposit receipt.
3. Only those qualifications & experiences etc. will be considered, if valid documentary proof is attached up-to the last date of advertisement.
4. In-service candidates must apply through proper channel. They also submit No Objection Certificate from their concerned departments/organizations along with their applications.
5. Pension scheme/benefits shall be governed by the Punjab's Defined Contribution Pension Scheme (2025) as applicable, with Clause 2(g) of the Punjab Rules, if applicable.
6. Age relaxation will be considered in the light of Government/University rules on case-to-case basis.
7. Only shortlisted candidates, who meet the criteria, will be called for test/interview.
8. In case of any educational document or any other document provided by the applicants is found incorrect/fake at any stage, the candidate will be disqualified immediately.
9. Incomplete applications without prescribed application fee and those received after the due date shall be rejected without intimation to the applicant.
10. The University reserves the right to decrease, withdraw any post or all advertisement, without assigning any reason, which will not be challengeable in any court of law.
11. For regular positions, the period of probation of 2 year can be extended for further period on the basis of un-satisfactory performance.
12. Prescribed Quota will be admissible where applicable as per rules.
13. The posts under category-II are purely on visiting basis, hence no right of regular appointment.
14. No TA/DA would be admissible at any stage.
