About the Job

Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), under the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, Government of Pakistan, is mandated to develop and promote Pakistan's Information Technology and IT-enabled Services (IT/ITeS) sectors, drive export growth, and position Pakistan as a globally competitive destination for technology and digital services. PSEB invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and dynamic professional(s) for the following position(s) on a contract basis.

Job Details

Qualification

Minimum 16 years of education with a degree in Mass Communication / Communications / Journalism / Public Relations / Marketing / Media Studies / Advertising / Digital Media / Information Technology / Computer Sciences / Business Administration / Management Sciences / Social Sciences / Applied Sciences or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized national or international university or institution.

Higher qualifications or professional certifications in Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Content Strategy, Social Media Management, or related areas shall be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of post-qualification relevant experience in digital communications, public relations, media relations, or a combination thereof, with progressively increasing responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience managing social media channels, digital content calendars, and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or equivalent platforms).
• Strong and established contacts across Pakistan's media and digital landscape, including print, broadcast, digital publications, influencer networks, and content creator communities.
• Experience in managing communications and media activity around events, brand or platform launches, program activations, government initiatives, or trade delegations.
• Candidates from the private sector, corporate communications, digital media, or entertainment industry are equally encouraged to apply.
• Experience in crisis communications and reputation management will be considered an added advantage.
• Experience with country marketing and international PR will be considered an added advantage.
