About the Job

The Maize & Millets Research Institute (MMRI), Yusafwala, Sahiwal, is inviting applications on plain paper along with CV, one photograph, educational certificates/degrees, CNIC, domicile, and experience certificates from eligible Punjab domiciled candidates for the post of Research Associate under the Punjab Agri. Research Board (PARB) funded project on a contract basis for one year.

Project, Qualification & Experience

Qualification: M.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture in Plant Breeding and Genetics

Experience: Preference will be given to the person having experience of working in Govt. research organization

Terms and Conditions

  1. Candidates already in Govt. service should apply through proper channel. Preference will be given to the person having experience of working in Govt. research organization.
  2. There should be no 3rd Division in the academic career.
  3. Candidates must bring their original documents (CNIC, Domicile, Educational Certificates/Degrees etc.) along with one photograph and one copy of the documents at the time of interview.
  4. The last date for receipt of applications is 10 July, 2026 and Test/Interview date is 20 July, 2026. If test/interview will not be held on 20 July, 2026 due to some official's engagement etc., then test/interview will be held on 27 July, 2026.
  5. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview through telephonic message. Candidates are required to give their addresses and contact numbers including cell numbers/e-mail for this purpose.
  6. No TA/DA will be allowed during and after selection.

2Research Methodology and Field Experimentation

As a Research Associate under a PARB project, you will be expected to assist in field trials, data collection, and experimental analysis.
