Qualification

• Degree Level: Minimum 16 years of education (Masters or Bachelors Hons) from any recognized University or Institute.
• Degree Disciplines: IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Telecommunication.
• Preferred Certifications: Candidates possessing any of the following certifications (or equivalent) will be highly preferred:

Experience

• Minimum Requirement: At least 3 years of post-qualification experience at an entry level in the public or private sector.
• Core Competencies: A proven track record of managing Data Center Security and Infrastructure. Expertise must include securing and managing data center environments encompassing the Microsoft stack, SAN storage, enterprise backups, data center switching, and monitoring systems.
• Technical Background: Demonstrated experience in deploying critical services, designing secure IT infrastructure, and implementing the latest data center technologies with a strong focus on security best practices, threat mitigation, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the security and resilience of DataCenter infrastructure.
• Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect DataCenter operations from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and PCI-DSS for data center security.
• Manage and secure cloud-based workloads, particularly in Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate risks in data center infrastructure.
• Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure operational resilience.
• Communicate effectively with senior management, auditors, and stakeholders on security matters and risk mitigation strategies.
