Qualification & Experiences
Educational Qualification:
- Nursing, Paramedical or Allied Health Diploma or Degree from a recognized board, council, or university
- Minimum 2nd Division in educational qualification
- Must possess domicile of Punjab
- Age: 18-30 Years
Physical Fitness Requirements:
- Minimum 25 sit-ups per minute
- Minimum 25 push-ups per minute
- One mile run in 8 minutes (standard) or 12 minutes (for candidates 35+ years and female candidates)
- Minimum height: 5 feet 6 inches
- Chest size: Minimum 33 inches
Medical & Health Requirements:
- Must be medically fit and certified by authorized medical examiner
- No history of obesity (BMI โฅ30 will result in disqualification)
- No severe vision problems or uncorrected eye issues
- Negative for Hepatitis B/C, HIV, and RPR (Rapid Plasma Reagin)
- Good mental health and psychological fitness

Key Responsibilities During Internship
- Respond promptly to emergency distress calls (1122) and provide initial medical assistance
- Perform rescue operations including search and rescue, extrication, and disaster response activities
- Provide emergency medical care including basic and advanced first aid techniques
- Assist paramedics and senior rescuers in patient assessment and care delivery
- Transport emergency patients to hospitals and medical facilities using ambulance vehicles
- Operate and maintain rescue equipment including stretchers, oxygen, first aid kits, and specialized rescue gear
- Maintain ambulance and rescue vehicle cleanliness, stock management, and equipment readiness
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with fire services, police, and medical personnel at emergency scenes
- Document incident details, patient information, and actions taken in prescribed formats
- Participate actively in mandatory training programs including CPR, trauma care, and rescue techniques
- Maintain professional conduct and comply with all Rescue 1122 safety protocols and regulations
- Assist in community outreach and public awareness activities about emergency preparedness
Selection Process

Terms & Conditions
- Applicants must be Pakistani citizens with valid CNIC (National Identity Card).
- Must possess valid domicile certificate of Punjab.
- Age limit: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 30 years (strictly enforced).
- Must possess Nursing, Paramedical or Allied Health Diploma/Degree from recognized board, council, or university with minimum 2nd Division marks.
- Must pass all stages of selection process: written test, physical fitness test, medical examination, psychological evaluation, and interview.
- Candidates must be medically fit per all medical requirements including negative status for Hepatitis B/C, HIV, and RPR.
- Must meet all physical fitness standards: 25 sit-ups/minute, 25 push-ups/minute, one mile run in prescribed time, minimum 5 feet 6 inches height, 33 inches chest size.
- Background verification will be conducted for all selected candidates through Punjab Police and relevant authorities.
- No candidate with criminal record, involvement in anti-national activities, or debarred from government service shall be eligible.
