SABSU invites applications from eligible Pakistani Nationals for the senior academic position of Associate Professor (BPS-20) in the Department of Architecture. The Associate Professor is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, supervising research, contributing to curriculum development, and advancing scholarly output in the architectural discipline. This is an initial contractual appointment for a period of 3 years.

Job Details

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following qualification criteria:

• PhD in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution, OR
• M.Arch./MPhil or equivalent degree awarded after 19 years of education from an HEC recognized University/Institution

Experience Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following experience criteria:

• 09 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University, including 4 years of post-PhD experience, OR
• 10 years of teaching/research experience with at least 3 years experience after the Masters level

Research Publications Requirement

Applicants must meet one of the following:

• 8 research publications with at least 2 publications in the last five years in HEC recognized Journals, OR
• Recognition in at least two national/international architectural design competitions/awards

Special Requirements

• Valid PCATP (Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners) registration is mandatory for Architecture faculty applicants
• Incomplete applications without attested copies of educational, professional and experience certificates will not be considered
• Three copies of bio-data along with required and other relevant documents must be submitted
• Separate applications must be submitted for each position applied for
• Government employees must attach a NOC from their employer
• Initial appointment will be made on a purely contractual basis for a period of 3 years
