About This Role
Visa, a world leader in payments technology, seeks a Senior Marketing Services Manager for Karachi. Drive transformation and business growth for partner banks through high-impact integrated marketing programs. Lead insight generation, develop strategic marketing roadmaps, orchestrate 360 marketing campaigns, advance digital marketing maturity, and manage cross-functional teams. Requires 10-12 years marketing/advisory experience, strategic expertise, digital transformation leadership, and people management. Hybrid role combining partnership management with internal collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- • Drive Insight Generation - Lead research with Visa teams to generate actionable insights into consumer behavior, market trends, and partner bank business needs
- • Develop and Execute Integrated Marketing Strategies - Design strategic marketing roadmaps identifying core growth opportunities aligned with business objectives
- • Present data-driven recommendations to drive joint investment with partner banks
- • Orchestrate 360 Marketing Campaigns - Own end-to-end planning, development, and execution of major joint marketing programs
- • Plan and execute brand building activities with integrated 360 marketing campaigns
- • Manage strategic sponsorships and partnership activations
- • Lead advanced digital marketing initiatives and campaigns
- • Advance Digital Marketing and Brand Maturity - Champion digital transformation agenda for partner banks
- • Introduce and deploy global best practices and innovative digital capabilities
- • Enhance brand relevance and improve business results through advanced measurement frameworks
- • Leverage Visa's Brand and Assets - Strategically integrate and activate Visa proprietary sponsorships and capabilities
- • Translate Strategy into Executable Plans - Convert strategic goals into detailed annual marketing plans with robust KPIs
- • Ensure measured outcomes are achieved and tracked
- • Drive Internal Collaboration for Campaign Success - Ensure alignment across Product, Sales, and Regional Marketing teams
- • Deploy seamless, coordinated approach in support of campaign objectives
- • Lead & Develop Teams - Directly manage, mentor, and develop team of marketers
Requirements & Qualifications
- ✓ Bachelor's Degree minimum with 8+ years relevant work experience
- ✓ Advanced Degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD) with 5+ years relevant experience, OR
- ✓ PhD with 2+ years relevant work experience
- ✓ 10-12 years progressive marketing & advisory experience (preferred)
- ✓ Consumer and tech marketing background (preferably)
- ✓ Strategic marketing expertise and integrated campaign execution capability
- ✓ Digital marketing maturity program leadership experience
- ✓ Proven partnerships and stakeholder management with senior-level relationships
- ✓ Ability to translate complex marketing data and consumer insights into strategies
- ✓ Experience with 360 marketing campaigns spanning digital, sponsorship, and traditional channels
- ✓ Digital marketing transformation or maturity program leadership success
- ✓ Familiarity with digital channels (performance marketing, social) and marketing analytics
- ✓ Exceptional commercial acumen and P&L driver understanding
- ✓ Ability to build business cases and secure partner investment
- ✓ Sales exposure and proven negotiation skills
- ✓ Highly strategic, innovative, and results-oriented approach
- ✓ Strong self-management and project governance abilities
- ✓ Prior people management experience (strongly preferred)
