About the Job
The Urban Unit is a project of the Planning and Development Board, Punjab, engaged in socio-economic research, data collection, and policy support. The Urban Unit is conducting the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER) Door-to-Door Survey and is inviting applications for 22 contract-based District Manager positions, one position per assigned district across Punjab.
The Urban Unit is seeking experienced professionals with strong fieldwork management and team leadership backgrounds for the role of District Manager. Selected candidates will oversee all field operations and data collection activities in their assigned district, supervise Tehsil Supervisors and Enumerators, and coordinate with stakeholders for smooth implementation of the survey project.

- Candidates possessing 18 years / M.Phil. degree, received training of PSER by BoS and PSER Door-to-Door Survey experience will be awarded bonus marks
- Candidates with a history of poor performance, disciplinary action, excessive absenteeism, or contract termination in previous projects shall not be considered
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all field operations and data collection activities within the assigned district
- Supervise Tehsil Supervisors and Enumerators to ensure timely and high-quality data collection
- Monitor field progress, resolve operational issues, and coordinate with stakeholders for smooth implementation

How to Prepare for This Role
๐ Documents for Interview
Bring original and attested copies of your degree certificate (minimum 16 years from HEC recognized university), CNIC, domicile certificate of the relevant district, and experience certificates clearly showing 5 years in fieldwork management, survey, data collection, or team management. Include any PSER training certificates from BoS and evidence of prior PSER Door-to-Door Survey experience for bonus marks consideration.
