About the Job
The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) is recruiting for the position of Assistant Director (Civil) under the WCLA ADP Projects Staff. This is a full-time government position based in Lahore District, Lahore Division, under the Punjab Government. The role is designed for a qualified Civil Engineering professional capable of leading field supervision, managing conservation and construction works, and coordinating with stakeholders across the project. The position presents a distinguished opportunity to contribute to the preservation and development of Lahore's historic urban infrastructure under a premier heritage authority.
This is a full-time position open to candidates of both genders aged between 25 and 35 years. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience. The degree must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Punjab domicile is mandatory for this position.

Qualification and Experience
- Graduate degree from a reputable institution in Civil Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience. The degree should be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
- Preference will be given to candidates having relevant higher qualifications and experience.
- Should have knowledge of the latest Engineering codes of practice.
- Preference will be given to candidates having experience in computer software i.e. Primavera, Pert master, Revit etc.

Job Responsibilities
- Technical monitoring / supervision of field
- Is responsible for the prompt disposal of the works assigned
- To execute the Civil/Conservation works as per approved scope, technical sanctions
- Monitor site safety and ensure that the requirement of the occupational health and Safety standards are met
- Overseeing the works of consultants on design and construction supervision matters
- Planning, designing, project preparation and approvals/ sanctions, construction, rehabilitation, protection works to attain optimum efficiency and success in the management and operation of the project(s)
- Active inter-action with donors, contractors, consultants and other stake holders on monthly review, progress of the projector any such area requiring immediate attention
- To carry out day to day office documentation regarding the project
- Preparing Work Schedule plans using MS project or Primavera & preparation of presentations if required
