Key Responsibilities

The Regional Business Head Peshawar will lead, monitor, and optimize regional operations across the following core mandates:

  • Business Development: Drive growth across branches by ensuring a substantial increase in sound lending, deposit mobilization, and expanding market outreach.
  • Network Supervision: Directly oversee and supervise a regional network consisting of 15 to 25 bank branches.
  • Policy Execution: Execute the credit and business policies of ZTBL precisely as announced by the Bank from time to time.
  • Target Achievement: Ensure the region and its individual branches achieve allocated targets for loan disbursement, recovery, and other commercial KPIs.
  • Operational Leadership: Provide proactive leadership to branches to ensure the development of business and attainment of assigned targets in three-fold operational activities: disbursement, recovery/NPL (Non-Performing Loans), and deposits.
  • Stakeholder & Sector Liaison: Maintain a close relationship with the external environment, specifically agricultural sector stakeholders, including farmers, relevant organizations, Agriculture Departments Extension staff, local Agriculture Research Institutes, revenue staff, and suppliers of agricultural inputs and machinery within the zone.
  • Representation: Represent ZTBL in business seminars, agricultural forums, and corporate conferences.
  • Financial Performance: Monitor and ensure the overall financial efficiency and commercial profitability of operations and branches within the zone.
  • Network Expansion: Identify strategic new opportunities for the opening of new branches or the relocation of existing ones.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Implementation of and strict compliance with all rules and regulations of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and ZTBL in field operations, specifically covering AML (Anti-Money Laundering), CFT (Combating the Financing of Terrorism), and KYC (Know Your Customer) parameters.
  • Quality Assurance: Implementation and monitoring of quality assurance standards across all regional branches.
  • Performance Evaluation: Regularly review, evaluate, and report on the financial and operational performance of the branch network.
  • Additional Mandates: Execute any other tasks or special projects assigned by the executive management.

Required Professional Qualifications & Experience

Candidates must strictly fulfill the following eligibility criteria to be considered:

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree from an HEC recognized Institute or University (National or International).
  • Overall Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in the banking sector.
  • Leadership Experience: Out of the total experience, a minimum of five (5) years must be specifically served as a Branch Manager / Area Manager.
  • Preferred Geographical Experience: Preferred preference will be granted to applicants possessing explicit experience in supervising branch networks within Peshawar / Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
