MNS University of Agriculture, Multan (MNSUAM) invites applications from Pakistani Nationals who are not married to a Foreign National for the position of Director Human Resource (BPS-19) on a regular basis. Qualification

  • Education: Master's degree (at least 2nd Division) from a recognized University.
  • Experience: Administrative experience of at least 12 years in BS-17 and above in a post of responsibility in a University or Government or a Semi-Government Organization or educational institution.

General Conditions

  2. Contribution to Pension Scheme shall be a part of initial / direct appointment.
  3. The candidates may apply separately for each post with application fee, who are intended to apply for more than one positions.
  4. Last date to apply ONLINE is 20.07.2026 and to submit the applications in hard form till 22.07.2026 four sets (dossier) for teaching positions and two sets for non-teaching positions with attested copies of all certificates, degrees, testimonials, detailed marks certificates, experience certificates, publications/research, transcripts and Bank Draft.
  5. Original Bank Draft of fee amounting to rupees indicated below, in favour of Treasurer, Muhammad Nawaz Shareef University of Agriculture, Multan: (i) BPS-19 and above: Rs. 5,000/- (ii) BPS-17 and 18: Rs. 3,500/- (iii) BPS-16: Rs. 2,000/-
  6. Age limit: No person who is less than 18 years and not more than 35 years shall be appointed to a post by initial/direct recruitment, to be reckoned as on the last date of advertisement. Relaxation in upper age limit will be considered as per rules.
  7. The female candidates must attach equality/gender statement certificate from Government of Pakistan Commission for Human Rights.
  8. 3% quota is reserved for disabled persons, 5% quota for Minorities (Non-Muslims) and 15% quota for women. Transgender can apply, if eligible for the post advertised for.
  9. Candidates already in service should apply through proper channel/NOC issued by the authority by due date.
  10. The Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) and forwarding for the last five years may also be required for the candidate.
  11. Applications will be short-listed according to the University prescribed criteria.
  12. The University has the right to increase or decrease the number of posts.
  13. The University reserves the right not to fill or withhold appointment against any post without assigning any reason.

1HR Management Experience in Government or Educational Institutions

The qualification requires at least 12 years of administrative experience with Human Resource Management specifically in a Government, Semi-Government, or community educational institution. This is the most important criterion for this role. In the interview, present a detailed chronological account of your HR career: the organizations where you served, your designation and grade, the size of the workforce you managed, and the specific HR functions you handled at each institution. Government and university HR functions are distinct from private sector HR and include service rules compliance, recruitment under public sector rules, performance evaluation systems, pensionary benefits, leave management, and disciplinary proceedings. Prepare specific examples of how you handled each of these functions.

Ensure all experience certificates clearly state the organization type (Government, Semi-Government, or educational institution), your designation, and the exact dates of service. If the certificate does not mention HR as the core function, obtain a supplementary letter from the employer specifying your human resource management responsibilities in detail.
2University HR Operations and Service Rules Knowledge

As Director Human Resource at a public university, you will oversee recruitment processes for teaching and non-teaching staff, manage service records, implement the University's service regulations, handle employee grievances, coordinate with the University's Syndicate and Selection Board, and ensure compliance with HEC and government HR policies. The interview panel will likely ask how you would manage the recruitment of academic staff in compliance with HEC guidelines, how you handle disciplinary cases under government service rules, and how you would design and implement HR policies for a growing university. Knowledge of the Punjab University Act, HEC faculty eligibility criteria, and government employees rules will be a distinct advantage in the interview.

Incomplete applications will not be entertained and applications received after the due date will not be accepted under any circumstances. Prepare both dossier sets well in advance of the 22nd July 2026 hard form deadline. Ensure every document is properly attested and consistently organized in both sets.
