About the Job

National University of Technology (NUTECH), Islamabad, located at Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed (IJP Road), Sector I-12, Islamabad, invites applications for the post of Junior Press Release Officer on a contract basis. NUTECH is seeking qualified professionals with BS/MS in Mass Communication/Media or a relevant field and 2-3 years of experience as a JPRO. The role involves media liaison, coordinating press and media events, monitoring current affairs and media coverage, and communicating organizational events to the public and press. All posts shall be filled purely on contract basis on open merit with a probation period, followed by performance-based continuation. HEC attested degree is mandatory for this position. Job Details

Qualifications & Experience

• BS/MS (Mass Communication/Media) or Relevant Field
• 2-3 years' of experience as JPRO
• Liaison with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations, often via telephone and email
• Devise and coordinate photo opportunities
• Communicating organizational events and initiatives to public and press
• Monitor current affairs and coverage of the university within the media
• Lead a team to organize media events and promotional activities
• Arrange for spokespeople to speak to the media
• HEC attested degree is must
