LRH MTI is inviting applications for the position of Audit Officer (Grade 07) on a contract basis. How to Prepare for This Role

1. Audit Officer at LRH MTI Grade 07 can be approached through two qualification routes. The first is CA Finalist/ACCA/ACMA/ICMA with 3 years audit experience, with CIA as an additional preferred qualification. The second is MBA Finance from an HEC recognised university with 5 years audit experience. Identify which route applies to your profile and structure your application documents accordingly, clearly demonstrating the qualifying credentials and experience years for that specific route.
2. Good understanding of risk-based auditing is a stated requirement for both routes. Prepare to demonstrate this at the test and interview stage. Review concepts of risk assessment in internal audit, risk-based audit planning, and how risk registers are used to prioritise audit work. Candidates with CIA qualification or CIPFA/IIA training will have a recognized advantage and should highlight this explicitly in their application.
3. Only post qualification experience will be counted. For the CA/ACCA/ACMA/ICMA route, ensure your 3 years of audit experience is fully post-qualification. For the MBA Finance route, ensure all 5 years are clearly post-MBA and in the audit field. Service letters and experience certificates must specify designations, dates, and nature of work in audit to avoid gaps in your experience calculation.
4. This post was previously advertised on 17th September 2025 with a last date of 01st October 2025. Candidates who applied in that round are explicitly told they need not apply again.
