How to Prepare for This Role
- Finance Manager at LRH MTI Grade 10 requires CA Inter with articleship completed at a QCR rated firm. The QCR rating of the firm is a specific and verifiable requirement. Ensure your articleship certificate clearly states the name of the firm and that the firm appears on the ICAP QCR-rated firms list. Applications where the firm's QCR status cannot be verified from the submitted documents are likely to be screened out at the eligibility stage.
- Two years of post qualification and post articleship experience is required, preferably in a hospital setting. Post qualification means experience gained after completing CA Inter and after completing your articleship, not during it. Prepare your service certificates to reflect clear start and end dates and ensure the total post-qualification, post-articleship period adds up to at least two years before the closing date of June 29, 2026.
- Hospital finance experience is listed as preferable. If you have worked in a healthcare institution, public sector hospital, or MTI-governed entity, highlight this prominently in your application. Familiarity with hospital-specific financial processes such as drug procurement accounting, donor fund management, development budget tracking, and payroll disbursement for large clinical staff will demonstrate direct relevance to the role.
- Only post qualification experience will be counted by the selection committee. Review your total experience timeline carefully and ensure no period of experience claimed overlaps with your articleship or study period. Internships or part-time work during CA Inter studies will not qualify. Each experience certificate must be on official letterhead, signed, and clearly state your designation and the nature of financial work performed.
- The prescribed application form from www.lrh.edu.pk is mandatory. A generic CV submission or handwritten application will be rejected without review. Download the form, complete all sections accurately, and attach attested copies of your CA Inter certificate, articleship completion certificate from the QCR rated firm, and all experience certificates. Include the original MCB deposit slip for the Rs. 1,000/- non-refundable processing fee.
- LRH MTI is governed by the Medical Teaching Institution Reform Act 2015 and its amendments. At interview, you may be asked about public financial management, internal controls, budget preparation and monitoring, and financial reporting standards applicable to government-funded hospitals. Familiarity with the AGP audit framework and the financial rules applicable to KPK public sector health institutions will give you a clear advantage in the selection process.
