National Bank of Pakistan seeks Branch Manager (AVP) for Aitemaad Islamic Banking. Report to Regional Head. Manage branch operations, business development, target achievement, customer relationships, regulatory compliance, fraud prevention. Responsible for ETB/NTB customer acquisition, cross-selling, staff management, audit management. Requires 6+ years branch banking with 3+ years manager experience.
Key Responsibilities
- • Undertake responsibility for overall management of branch affairs including supervision, business development, target/KPI achievement through marketing Islamic banking products
- • Meet with ETB/NTB customers for marketing deposits, finances, retail products, BANCA, asset management, remittances, FBR/Government business
- • Execute and deliver branch's annual business plan/target and prepare periodic performance reports
- • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly/annual targets as assigned
- • Cascade branch targets to staff and regularly track performance and productivity
- • Minimize value and number of attritions of top quartile customers
- • Monitor and process cross-selling of liability and asset products at branch level
- • Devise strategies to counter competition and maximize market share
- • Responsible for eliminating fraud and forgery with stringent internal control mechanism
- • Provide support for new product launches and sales initiatives
- • Ensure compliance of Banking laws, regulations, instructions and SOP including Shariah
- • Monitor and periodically review the credit portfolio of the branch
- • Ascertain training and development needs of staff and nominate on appropriate courses
- • Maintain highest standards of customer service ensuring zero complaint management within TAT
- • Ensure upkeep of Branch premises as per bank standard
- • Ensure fair treatment to customers and educate them about financial products
- • Review branch audit & performance reports and ensure all observations are addressed
- • Maintain all files/documentations and comprehensive records maintenance
- • Ensure all processes are completed within specified TAT
- • Perform any other assignment as assigned by supervisor(s)
Requirements
- ✓ Minimum Graduation or equivalent from HEC-recognized institution
- ✓ Commerce Graduation preferred
- ✓ Islamic Banking certification/degree or diploma preferred
- ✓ Minimum 6 years experience in branch banking
- ✓ At least 3 years as Branch Manager
- ✓ Preferably in Islamic Banking
- ✓ Sound knowledge of branch banking operations and Islamic banking products
- ✓ Sound knowledge of compliance regulations regarding AML/CFT and SBP Prudential Regulations

Education
Graduation (Commerce/Islamic Banking preferred)
