The Finance Division, Government of Pakistan, is actively seeking a highly qualified and motivated professional for the position of Analyst - Data Visualization & Reporting to join the newly established Tax Policy Office in Islamabad. This role is fundamental to the modernization of Pakistan's fiscal management, as it bridges the gap between raw data and strategic policy action. You will be responsible for transforming complex tax datasets—ranging from corporate filings to international tax treaties—into clear, interactive, and actionable visual insights.
By leveraging advanced data storytelling and state-of-the-art visualization tools, you will play a key part in enabling senior leadership to monitor revenue performance in real-time and make evidence-based decisions that shape the national economy.
Proposed Key Responsibilities
- Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to visualize tax collection trends and policy impacts.
- Data Synthesis: Consolidate data from multiple sources (Corporate, GST/FED, and International Tax) to provide a unified view of revenue performance.
- Reporting: Prepare high-quality periodic reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders using automated reporting tools.
- Insight Generation: Identify patterns, anomalies, and trends in tax data to support evidence-based policy recommendations.
- Data Storytelling: Translate technical data findings into clear, concise, and compelling visual narratives for non-technical policymakers.

Job Details
This position is designated as Analyst - Data Visualization & Reporting, operating under the SPPS-III (Special Professional Pay Scale) framework. The role is based at the Tax Policy Office within the Finance Division located in Islamabad. There is currently 01 (one) post available for this specialized track.
