About the Jobs
Government College University, Faisalabad is inviting applications from Pakistani Nationals for various non-teaching positions vacant at its Chiniot and Hafizabad sub-campuses. These positions are offered under the Basic Pay Scale (BPS) and are temporary, but likely to become permanent. Successful candidates will receive the designated basic pay scale plus usual allowances as permissible under the university rules.

Sub-Campus Chiniot
- Assistant Registrar (BPS-17): There is 01 vacant position for this post. The age limit is 24–35 years. The required qualification is an MA/MSc degree. Preference will be given to individuals who possess reasonable experience in Computer Programming and who have a good knowledge of important software packages.
- Junior Clerk (BPS-11): There are 03 vacant positions for this post. The age limit is 18–25 years. Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary School examination in at least the 2nd division. Additionally, a typing speed in English of 35 w.p.m. and knowledge of word processing are required.
- Security Guard (BPS-09): There are 05 vacant positions, reserved exclusively for Male candidates. The age limit is 20–35 years. Eligible candidates must be (a) an ex-service man not below the rank of L/Naik, preferably trained or experienced in security matters with an exemplary service record; OR (b) an ex-service man with an exemplary service record; OR (c) a civilian who is a Matriculate (2nd Division) from a recognized Board, with a minimum height of 5'-9", a chest measurement of 32" to 34", and a good physical appearance.
- Dispatcher Rider/ Dispatcher (BPS-05): There are 02 vacant positions for this post. The age limit is 18–25 years. Candidates are required to have passed the Secondary School Examination and must hold a valid Motorcycle Driving License.
- Laboratory Attendant (BPS-05): There is 01 vacant position for this post. The age limit is 18–25 years. The minimum educational qualification required is a Matric certificate with Science.
- Mali / Baildar (BPS-01): There are 04 vacant positions for this post. The age limit is 18–25 years. Candidates must be literate. Preference will be given to those individuals who possess experience relevant to the work.
- Naib Qasid (BPS-01): There are 05 vacant positions for this post. The age limit for applicants is 18–25 years. Candidates must be literate to eligible.
- Sanitary Worker (BPS-01): There are 02 vacant positions for this post. The age limit is 18–25 years. Applicants must be literate to qualify for selection.
Sub-Campus Hafizabad
- Security Guard (BPS-09): There are 05 total vacant positions, divided as 04 Male positions and 01 Female position. The age limit is 20–35 years. Applicants must fulfill one of the following criteria: (a) an ex-service man not below the rank of L/Naik, preferably trained or experienced in security matters with an exemplary service record; OR (b) an ex-service man with an exemplary service record; OR (c) a civilian who is a Matriculate (2nd Division) from a recognized Board, has a height of 5'-9", a chest measurement of 32" to 34", and possesses a good physical appearance.

Application Processing Fees
A non-refundable processing fee must be paid via an original Demand Draft drawn in favor of the Treasurer, Government College University, Faisalabad. For positions under BPS-17, the processing fee is Rs. 2000/-. For positions falling under BPS-06 to BPS-16, the processing fee is Rs. 1000/-. For lower-scale positions falling under BPS-01 to BPS-05, the processing fee is Rs. 500/-.
Instructions and Policy Guidelines
- Required Documentation: Candidates must submit Three (03) sets of the duly filled Application & Biodata Form. These sets must be fully supported with attested copies of all educational testimonials/certificates, degrees, IBCC / HEC Equivalence Certificates (where applicable), detailed marks certificates, relevant experience certificates with specific dates explicitly issued by Competent Offices, CNIC, three recent photographs, and an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Employment Terms: The Selection Board/Appointment Committee can recommend any candidate on either a regular or contract basis based entirely on their performance in the interview.
- Multiple Applications: Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a completely separate Job Application Form and separate demand draft along with individual sets of necessary documents for each position.
- University Rights: The University reserves the absolute right not to fill any post, withdraw any post, or withhold any appointment against any advertised position without assigning any reason.
- In-Service Candidates: Candidates already serving in government/semi-government sectors must apply through the proper channel by the due date.
- Equivalence Certificates: Candidates must attach their HEC Equivalence Certificate(s) where applicable. Applications missing these will not be entertained or considered.
- Scrutiny & Shortlisting: The evaluation and decisions made by the Scrutiny Committee shall be final. Only short-listed merit candidates will be informed and called for an interview in accordance with the university policy/procedures.
- Pension/Funds Scheme: Employees entering the service of GCU Faisalabad on a regular basis will be governed under the Contributory Provident Fund (CPF) or relevant applicable rules.
- Age Relaxation: Upper age limits can be relaxed as per the established policy of the University.
- Sub-Campus Mandatory Service: Candidates recommended for any Sub-Campus must serve for at least five (05) years at that specific Sub-Campus. At the time of joining, they are required to submit an Affidavit declaring they will not make any request for a transfer before completing their five-year tenure.
Important Notes
- Disabled Quota: A 3% quota is strictly reserved for persons with disabilities as directed by the Government of the Punjab. Disabled applicants must submit a valid registration certificate issued by the Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons of the Social Welfare Department. Note: Persons with disabilities are entirely exempted from the processing fee (demand draft) condition.
- Minority Quota: A 5% quota is strictly reserved for minorities.
- Quota Claim: Any candidate applying under a specific quota must explicitly mention the quota on their application form and attach valid legal evidence supporting their claim.
- Correspondence: The University is not responsible if official call letters are delayed or fail to reach the candidate due to any lapse or error by the Courier Agency, Post Office, or via telephonic message.
- Travel Allowance: No TA/DA (Travel Allowance / Daily Allowance) will be provided for appearing in the interview.
