Officer - Internet Security Reviewer (OG - II / OG - I)

National Bank of Pakistan, 'The Nation's Bank', aims to support the financial well-being of the Nation along with enabling sustainable growth and inclusive development through its wide local and international network of branches. The Bank is looking for talented, dedicated and experienced professionals for the position of Officer - Internet Security Reviewer (OG - II / OG - I) in the area of Risk Management. This is a 3-year contractual position that may be renewed at the discretion of the Management, based at Karachi.

Key Responsibilities

• • Assess web application architecture components and their vulnerabilities
• • Provide subject matter expertise on common internet attacks including various types of fraud and scams
• • Be responsible for documentation and planning for all web security-related information, including incident response and recovery plans
• • Manage PCI DSS Program
• • Be responsible for SWIFT CSP KYC Compliance
• • Establish and enforce protocols, security measures and controls
• • Be part of deployment of various application security testing tools
• • Identify the root cause of security incidents, dig into technical issues and examine problems from all sides to help in the resolution
• • Perform surveillance and evaluation of current policies against new standards and laws as well as flaws identified internally or externally discovered by others throughout the industry
• • Perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Requirements

• ✓ Minimum graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
• ✓ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Technology Engineering (preferred)
• ✓ Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Technology Engineering (preferred)
• ✓ Any other relevant professional certification (preferred)
• ✓ Minimum 2 years experience in Information Technology
• ✓ Experience in Information Security (preferred)
• ✓ Preferably in Internet Security
• ✓ Understanding of Information Security function
• ✓ Good interpersonal skills
• ✓ Team player with ability to prioritize
• ✓ Ability to meet strict deadlines
• ✓ Awareness of cyber security monitoring and detection tools
