Join a Karachi-based, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulated Electronic Money Institution (EMI) as an Operations Specialist. In this key role, you will conduct end-to-end agent/merchant and consumer back office operations management. You will oversee daily operations of both digital and physical channels, monitor transaction flows, and ensure regulatory compliance. This is an excellent opportunity to work in the fintech sector with exposure to mobile money, digital financial services, and merchant/agent onboarding operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- • Oversee daily operations of both digital and physical channels (app, merchant/agents)
- • Monitor transaction flows, system performance, and service uptime
- • Manage and support agent/merchant networks, including onboarding, training, and performance tracking
- • Handle all consumer, merchant and agent related issues with timely resolution
- • Escalate issues to internal/external teams to ensure customer experience is not impacted
- • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- • Assist with collecting, verifying, and filing necessary documentation for Agents/merchants
- • Conduct reporting and analysis of merchant/agent transactions
- • Maintain accuracy and quality in all onboarding processes
- • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve operational challenges
Requirements
- ✓ Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- ✓ Minimum 16 years of formal education
- ✓ Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience in large national/multinational organization
- ✓ At least 1-2 years of related functional experience in similar role at equivalent position
- ✓ Experience in consumer, agent/merchant management operations
- ✓ Experience in onboarding, fintech, or digital financial services
- ✓ Strong understanding of agent/merchant onboarding and mobile money
- ✓ Familiarity with back-office onboarding and compliant management/customer service
- ✓ Sufficient knowledge of EMI regulations and fintech processes
- ✓ Maximum age: 33 years as of last date of application submission
