University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) is seeking a dedicated Research Associate to contribute to cutting-edge agricultural research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hafiz Naeem Asghar at the Institute of Soil & Environmental Sciences. This contract-based position offers an excellent opportunity to engage in meaningful research that addresses critical soil and environmental challenges in agriculture.
The research project focuses on innovative rice straw management through substrate stimulated microbial consortium, an environmentally sustainable approach to enhance soil health and reduce environmental degradation. As Research Associate, you will be instrumental in conducting laboratory and field-based experiments, analyzing microbial communities, monitoring soil health parameters, and documenting research findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
Qualifications
M.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture - Soil Science
Experience Required
Thesis research experience in Soil Microbiology preferred

SITUATION VACANT
Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate in the following research project. The appointment will be purely on contract basis. Two sets of applications on the prescribed form available on www.uaf.edu.pk along with most recent attested photographs and attested copies of academic certificates, degrees, testimonials, detailed mark certificates and experience certificates with specific date should be reached in the office of the respective Principal Investigator during office hours till 18-05-2026. Applications either incomplete or received after the due date will not be entertained. The University reserves the right not to fill the vacancy without assigning any reason.
