National Bank of Pakistan seeks Unit Head - SWIFT Operations (AVP/VP) in Karachi. Report to Wing Head - SWIFT Operations. Manage SWIFT Alliance applications, message routing, queue management, archive/backup activities, MIS reporting, and internal controls. Requires 8+ years banking with 3+ years supervisory SWIFT Operations experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor SWIFT Alliance applications, system behavior and Reverse Proxy Server for smooth processing of SWIFT Traffic
• Perform Message Management by deploying 'Routing' at SWIFT Alliance in accordance with internal stakeholder requirements
• Review/addition of SWIFT Alliance Queues, Partner and exit points for integration with core banking/back office applications and UAT
• Provide understanding to technology teams for required core banking/back office development to sync with SWIFT requirements
• Ensure timely deployment of upcoming SWIFT changes without compromising existing controls
• Ensure internal controls are exercised to obtain satisfactory rating from internal/external audits
• Provide assistance to internal customers regarding SWIFT related activities
• Perform archive/backup activities in timely manner
• Ensure smooth disposal process of SWIFT messages to concerned Branches/Segments
• Prepare and share all internal and external MIS reports
• Resolve audit comments and implement measures to minimize recurrence
• Perform any other assignment as assigned by supervisor(s)

Requirements

✓ Minimum Graduation or equivalent from HEC-recognized institution
✓ Master's degree or relevant diploma/certification preferred
✓ 8+ years banking experience
✓ 3+ years in supervisory role of SWIFT Operations
✓ Expertise in SWIFT System
✓ Proficiency in MS Office
✓ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✓ Excellent organizational skills, attention to details and proactive working attitude
