About This Role

National Bank of Pakistan invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Wing Head - Centralized ID Management (VP) in the Information Technology Division. Reporting to the Divisional Head - IT Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing User ID creation, updating, and administration in line with IT Security policies, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and leading the wing through audits and security assessments. This leadership role requires extensive expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and user coordination across diverse organizational functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely creation, updating, and disabling of User IDs in line with the Bank's IT Security policies, including implementation and compliance with new security policies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all ID maintenance requests
  • Ensure the application on-boarding process for ID management complies with account and password security standards
  • Lead the wing during audits and security assessments
  • Correspond effectively with stakeholders and end users on matters related to ID Management
  • Provide learning sessions and training for new joiners on user management of different applications
  • Conduct regular analysis of ID Management processes and procedures, recommending and implementing adjustments as necessary
  • Prepare MIS reports and dashboards for management review
  • Actively participate in daily IT Operations strategic meetings
  • Conduct periodic User Rights Assessments in accordance with approved SOPs
  • Perform any other assignments as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
  • Bachelor's degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Relevant professional certification(s) preferred
  • Minimum 08 years of experience in the field of IT
  • 05 years of experience in Application ID Management
  • Leadership experience in a supervisory role within a financial institution
  • Proven ability to lead effective user coordination and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with capability to influence and collaborate
  • Sound knowledge of user management for core banking applications and systems
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, risk management, and compliance standards
  • Comprehensive expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Knowledge of user ID creation, modification, role assignment, and access rights administration
