Varies by position: Bachelor's degree from HEC recognized university (CAM, Assistant Director GIS Expert, Assistant Programmer), Intermediate (Sub Engineer, Inspector Revenue, Electrician, Plumber), Matric (Driver, Clerical staff, Helpers, Tube Well Operator), Literate/Primary (Sweeper, Sewer man).

Experience Required

Varies by position: 3-5 years (Assistant Director GIS Expert), 2-3 years (Assistant Programmer, Inspector Revenue, Driver), 1-3 years (Sub Engineer, Assistant, Junior Clerk), 2 years (Tube Well Operator, Sweeper), 1-2 years (Plumber). Entry-level positions (Helper) require basic fitness.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical roles: GIS mapping, IT infrastructure management, engineering supervision, project execution
• Administrative roles: Record keeping, billing, revenue inspection, office correspondence, data entry
• Field operations: Equipment operation, maintenance, sanitation, water distribution, cleaning, vehicle operation

WATER AND SANITATION AGENCY (WASA), KHUZDAR

SITUATION VACANT

(Purely Temporary / Work-Contract Basis)

The Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (WASA), Khuzdar invites applications from eligible candidates to fill the following vacancies to meet its head office and field staff requirements. Please note that this engagement is strictly temporary in nature, made for a limited period and against specific assignments only.

NAME OF POSTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

CAM (Clerical Assistant to Manager)	02	BA from any HEC recognized university preferred. Candidate must have one year DIT (Computer Diploma). Typing speed 35 WPM in both Urdu & English preferred. Candidate must have knowledge of CMS/office management.
Assistant Director (GIS Expert)	01	BS (Hons) Computer Science / GIS from HEC recognized university with 3-5 years relevant experience. Candidate must have strong GIS mapping, data analysis, and technical implementation skills.
Assistant Programmer (I.T)	01	BS IT from HEC recognized university with 2-3 years relevant experience. Candidate must have expertise in IT infrastructure, CMS management, graphic designing, and web application development.
Sub Engineer	03	BS Civil / Mechanical Engineering from HEC recognized university with 1-3 years relevant experience. Candidate must have knowledge of project management, water supply engineering, and site supervision.
Assistant	01	Matric with 1-3 years relevant experience. Candidate must have basic office knowledge (MS Office, data entry, etc.) and good communication skills.
Junior Computer Operator	02	Intermediate with computer course. Typing speed 30 WPM (minimum) in both Urdu & English required. Candidate must have knowledge of MS Office applications.
Junior Clerk	05	Matric with 1-3 years relevant experience. Candidate must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and basic photo-editing. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant computer skills.
Inspector Revenue	01	Intermediate from any recognized institution with 2-3 years relevant experience. Candidate must have knowledge of billing, recovery procedures, and field work.
Bill Distributor	03	Matric with basic knowledge of billing, recovery and field work. Preference will be given to candidates having relevant billing/recovery experience.
Driver	03	Matric with valid HTV & LTV driving license and 2-3 years relevant driving experience. Candidates must have basic maintenance knowledge and good driving record.
Electrician	01	Intermediate with relevant experience. Candidate must have knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
Plumber	02	Intermediate with 1-2 years plumbing experience. Candidate must have practical experience in water supply pipelines and fitting operations.
Naib Qasid	03	Matric with 2-3 years office experience. Candidate must be responsible for office duties, record handling, and assistance to staff members.
Helper	09	Matric. Candidate must be physically fit and capable of performing ground-level assistance work. Preference will be given to candidates having relevant field experience.
Tube Well Operator	05	Primary / Matric. Candidate must be capable of operating tube well equipment and have 2 years mechanical / operation experience.
Sweeper	02	Literate / Primary. Candidate must be responsible for cleaning duties, sanitation, and maintaining hygiene of premises. Physically fit for field-based work.
Sewer man	10	Literate / Matric. Candidate must have knowledge of sewer maintenance, sanitation procedures, and field operations. Physically fit and capable of ground-level duties.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

This engagement is strictly temporary in nature, made for a limited period and against specific assignments only.
No Applicant shall, at any stage of any time, claim regularization or permanent status under the rules or any other office.
No Applicant shall, at any stage of any time, claim regularization or permanent status, nor raise any claim under the Workmen's Compensation Ordinance (Ordinance No. 1962) or any other office.
Engagement shall be governed purely under work-chargeability nexus arrangements, subject to the requirement of work.
No leave shall be admissible during the period of engagement except in case of unforeseen work-related emergency need.
No case of any engaged person could be terminated at any time, without assigning any reason and without prior notice as per work requirement.

All documents (educational and experience certificates) will be verified, and any false information will lead to cancellation of candidature.
The Commission, WASA has the right to increase/decrease the posts as per decision of Recruitment Committee or requirements.
